We do not have insurance or electricity but do have Dodo internet and phone.
If they handle their insurance and electricity arm the same way as their phone and internet services you will be dealing with an off shore non english speaking person every time you ring regarding a problem.
it is Very frustrating.

Despite the cost of living, it is still a very popular pass time.
I have DoDo energy at home. Maybe I am lucky but they leave Origin and AGL for dead. I get 15% discount off each bill and I still can't work out how I get so much back. I have a solar system that pay me 60 cents per kWh courtesy of the NSW Government. DoDo take $57 per month out of my account for each quarter. When the meter is read they assess the total bill take 15% off then the solar contribution and then the balance is charged to my direct account on the last day that it is due. My pay on time discount is usually over $100. So a bill that would normally be over $800 becomes closer to $200.
Remember that Dodo Insurance is nothing more than the promotional/marketing name for Insurance Products underwritten by Auto & General Insurance Company. That is who you need to do your research on with regards to claims & service. It is like Woolworths Insurance which is underwritten by Hollard Insurance and it is the insurance underwriters who make the claims decisions etc., not the promotional/marketing company, they just receive a commission for each policy sold.
