My brother the Busker...

I have a brother who is over 70 and in the past he was a State Manager for an International company for a number of years as well as running his own import/export businesses.

He now busks in the streets of Perth and also sings at nursing homes and shopping centres and loves it, he said he wished he had started it years ago.

Here is a picture of him at a shopping centre doing his stuff.

I must admit I admire his tenacity and drive for one of his age.

He sure is Cloak, one of my two younger brothers, he turned 70 last March.aww

Dave, have sung a song now and then and recited a couple of poems but not for a long time, just for fun! bleh

Gary.....KMart specials....wink

Jules, he would have probably been in it but too busy doing his entertainment rounds. smile

Here is a shot of me (no music or backing) singing a little (clean) ditty to a group at Harvey Dam...

(PS:  We do have a great singer on GN by the name of Jonathon (Biggles), I have seen and heard him in action.)

Hey Vic ..

you never mentioned him when I was over there .. Way to go mate .. you should get it going too ..

Chance I could be over your way again next year Vic .. Friend at Ceduna is setting up a camping zone on his property so I just may continue on over ..

let you know around Christmas ..

Get a few songs from your brother and pop 'em on her mate! I'm sure others would like to hear 'em also ..

Catch up with you if you get over this way Jon, regards my brother he wasn't in Perth when you were over here.

How about putting a link to your CD/Stick on here?

I don't see him very often, too busy busking, LOL !

Off now on my trip so apologies if I do not answer further posts etc.

Yes John .. I do hope things improve for you >> no good feeling "flat" for too long ..

And Vic .. Enjoy your time back on the road, however briefly mate.

I will consider opening a new topic to enable members to attach MP3's for  the purpose of sharing some music ..

Don't forget Vic .. I'm no pro singer .. like your brother, I just like doing it .. but its fun .. (as you have experienced eh!)

Glad he never stopped learning Milo, gave him a purpose in life if only briefly towards the end.
