Thanks everyone, I am extremely happy with my decision and can't wait for next Thursday to get the guided tour of the factory and to get the production of the Den underway. Bring it on I say. All going well I might have a nice Xmas present.

so only extra cost would be... one 220 ah battery or 2 110 ah batteries.. depending on your setup...
im not sure why.... but people seem to go for bigger wattage panel capacity without lifting their storage which is more important.. IMO .. or at least equal..
I'm not a big power user person Blue so I will see how the 220 goes first. I only have 100 at the mo in the Avan and don't see myself using a great deal more than now, yeh a little more but not much I don't think anyway.
Water might be different. I will have 2x95 lt tank of fresh water on board and that will only be used for washing etc, not drinking. I use filtered or bottled for that. I worked hard for my tummy and need to look after it . If I have access to some creek/tap water I will just get a bucket of water each day, well half really and do dishes etc that way to keep tank water for when really needed. I don't plan on using the shower on board just cos it's there, I will use it only when people back of quickly as I start to talk to them I do it that way now and see no reason why I have to change. Mmmmm, maybe I could use that to my advantage Just thought of that I just want more space around me and storage for various things, something I don't have now.
It will be great to have cloths etc at finger tips and not have to go out in the cold or rain to get a shirt or whatever out of the tug. Sit on a nice chair without having to get up, fold it and move it just to get a beer out the fridge. Equally great not to have to move things from the bed one end to the other end at night just to go to bed. Then move back to the bed in the morning to use bench space during the day. Oh! most importantly, Go through all that again during the day if I want a poppy nap
Don't get me wrong Blue, I appreciate your comment and input my GN friend. That's what I like about this forum as it is now, Great people giving great advice freely. It makes for really having a successful and enjoyable time out in the playground.
Being solo makes a big difference as well I think with power and water usage especially
Bring on the space.

you will also be able to get up about 0200 just to change beds, as in one twin to the other, no need for electric blankets as twins will keep both beds warm.
Dougwe,
Did you get to see the "Safari" ?
Was wondering what you felt about it if you did, maybe a few things i missed, price ? layout ? whatever your input would certainly help my deciding one way or the other.
Pomme
Pomme, to be honest with you, I probably did but in the end everything was starting to look the same so decided enough was enough and concentrated on the by then, narrowed field. The "Chief" Feather was the only one that had that "Wow" factor and then to have all my boxes ticked plus a couple of extras, that was it. IMO of course.
Definitely worth a look mate. Not sure where you are but I am dealing with Luxury RV's in Croydon, Melbourne, Victoria. PM me if you want any more info in that department.

Thanks for answer Dougwe,
Live in the golden triangle at the moment ( Ballarat-Bendigo-St Arnaud ) so a trip to croydon would not be a problem.
I am taking a little longer than you have to make sure i and the better half get exactly what we want and need.
Again thank you for the quick reply.
Pomme.
This lifestyle has that effect on everyone Doug. Not the twins, silly!
The caravan upgrade from the A Van. You will enjoy the space, shelter and comfort.
The advantage of having one built is you can put your order in for your requirements e.g. solar, deep cycle batteries etc.
Have fun with it.
