Hello,,

I am a new member to site, and find this site most inspiring, also I am looking forward to my first real  little solo trip in OZ next week.  Uluru and have nothing done about hiring a vehicle/accommodation yet. I'm Irish in my 50ies and currently in Sydney..

any tips or suggestions.... on how I can get to see all the great sites  in the area  as I can,  in 5 days...   I am thinking of hiring a little camper van,  instead of a car and accommodation on my budget..

Any advice welcome..

.

Welcome to the gang Nora, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Grab yourself a copy of "Camps Australia Wide" and "Wikicamps" for your phone. Work with both of those and you will find some teally nice spots. Camps 7 is the current edition but 8 is due out around Aprilmnext year.

Next, ask questions in the appropriate ections of thisngreat forum and you will get heaps of answers. In the mean time make sure you check all sections of the forum and the front page as well (click top right).
