I've bought a 1982 Coaster from someone who was here in the Park. Can't find where the battery is supposed to live. I was told it's under the step of the side door, but no sign of anything there. It's a 4 cyl Diesel, 2B engine. All kitted out with cooking and sleeping facilities, but don't think it has run for a year or two. Any advice will be much appreciated.

In my 1980 Coaster the cranking battery is located between the front wheel arch and the side door. John
Our 85 Coaster was in the same position as yeoeleven but it is now located under bed on passenger side just past the door. If you look under the bus you can trace the cables from starter motor to Batt/s. You may have house batteries as well. Ours has 3 batteries in the one location.
