RIP Ozjohn.

Just read on another forum that Ozjohn passed away on Sunday.

Been a great contributor on this forum. Not much about RVs that John didn't know.

Condolences to the family and Rest In Peace old mate.

RIP John and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Thankyou for letting us know sandsmere, you just save me the embarrassment of a phone call to go have a chat with him later this week.

Very sad news indeed. As many others have already said, OzJohn had an incredible caravanning knowledge, and I know was unfailingly generous with his time and always happy to help others. He will be missed greatly. Condolences to his family.

That's really sad news, I've always admired and respected OzJohn - he gave unbiased help when required and never a bad word. Never met him but I know he would have been a great bloke.

Thanks for the sad info Sandsmere, I had met Ozjohn at an Ozpark stand at a Caravan and Camping Show years ago in Perth.

At one time I was acting as an agent for Ozparks on his behalf on my travels in WA.

As some would know he was the founder of Ozparks In Australia, some history here.

http://www.ozparks.com.au/pages/about-us.php

RIP Ozjohn and Condolences to his family.

John gave me an Ozpark cap to wear among other things, a photo below.

Very sad news indeed, and my sincere condolences to his family.
He was also on another forum that I was a member of, and both here and there, he provided sound advice on a wide variety of topics regarding caravanning in general, and caravan park management.

RIP OzJohn.

Never met the guy but read heaps of the posts he made here and on other forums; they were always knowledgeable and full of genuine advice freely given with no rencour. He will be sorely missed by the caravanning community. My sympathies to his family.
