external shower on caravan


Can anyone offer opinion we have Ronald Avan thinking about external shower and porta loo would this be acceptable in a freestay sight or must it be internal shower we want to freestay dont want to buy another van would appreciate some advice

Welcome to the gang Dawney, enjoy here and out in the playground.

As to your question, a shower/toilet tent is a good idea but keep in mind that some "free stay" camps say you must be fully self contained so a shower/toilet tent would not be suitable.

I have also heard of and recently seen someone that puts a small kids wading pool in their van to shower and reckons it works well. Uncle Al has just blocked my memory as to who it is though but sure it was a member here.
