We sold our property in a rural area - we had four acres, and were nearly always on the ride on every weekend. The name of our van is a no-brainer "Dunmowin"

DUNMOWIN is no longer on the road and still DUNMOWIN!
well we have ours for 18 years now and sooner or later will come to a decision , can`t rush these things can you. although I have seen many a good name , just not sure on ours.
Hi Roadtourer, I know your excitement, our avitar is our motorhome, never had one before, we have had it now for 6 months and only done short weekends away so far, but the excitement never fades. We call her "Glady's" , this means nothing to enyone else except my wife and I, it just suits.
Cheers
Greg

Thanks guys certainly cannot be rushed and i see some personal names which i love, guess it is something we have to feel and once it comes it will be right. But it's a difficult one too must admit we all got different ideas lol
Grey personal meanings are the best that is what makes it unique! Love it!
Exa41 i agree something that can't be rushed... hmm mind is boggling with ideas tho!
Dunmowin nice and simple too i like it.
sadly it doesnt make it easier but time will tell i guess.
Great ideas all thank you for sharing.

Gee Mazz you will have people, sorry, wombat and his mates lining up for miles for a free kiss if you use your one. You just don't know where his nose and mouth has been.
Second thought I don't think he as any mates so just his nose and mouth, yuk.
I aint go anywhere near the "greatest free love" one

I think a name just comes to you when it feels right. I originally called my rig Chateau Mobile but thought it was a bit clumsy so I changed to Pride and Joy which I've shortened to PJ.

Hmmmm.......GG might have suited PJ too......"Galivanting Gary"
Hey Sarg! I saw your van somewhere - yeah I know sounds dumb, but I did and I can't remember where it was, but thought what a great name!
Our first van, we called 'The Woodshack' and this new van is called 'Our Hootchie' - it's the name the guys gave their tents in the army, and as Pete's ex-army, that's the name for our new little home.

Lol at too 70s, roadtourer. My 1987 van gained her name from the shop my son worked at, from where she received a mini-makeover in the form of 6" 'flower-power' daisies and the shop's own 'Daizy' sticker fore and aft. Seemed appropriate for an "aging hippie".
Now of course every time I get behind the wheel I think of the film "Driving Miss Daisy".
good topic everyone , love the names i think it gives a bit fun and character to the journey however long it is , were full time nomads now reaching nearly 2 yrs we came up with this saying not long before we headed off , it just seemed to stick and describe our thoughts ,
