I'm in Esperance

Well I've seen some beautiful sunsets, eagles, camels, drove thru teaming rain in Norseman WA, had a giant burger.

Cricky Fran, they reckon I move quick. You are low flying I reckon. Is that great mobile den of yours run on jet fuel?

Keep enjoying the playground though as you appear to be doing, good on ya.

I wouldn't even attempt that Fran. I hope you felt guilty eating it biggrin  No I don't, I hope you enjoyed every mouth full. At least all that salad at the bottom made it healthy, even has plenty of protein biggrin

I enjoyed Esperance, it is a beautiful place.

Hope you have time for Cape Le Grand National Park only 50kms east.

You are travelling quickly but then you have a deadline. All the best for your travels.

Hi Fran WOW you're seeing some gorgeous sites and views! I too heard Esperance is stunning!
Happy and safe travels.
One question what is the speed limit on the longest straight stretch (the 90 mile stretch)?
Best of luck on your trip to Perth

I loved the south around Esperance so much that as it was very wet and windy the first time I was there and I could not wait for the weather to improve as I had to be back for work  I went back again 3 yrs later and spent a lot more time around the area and also the wheatbelt region

As usual Fran the photos are great - What a burger - You would break your neck if you fell off that!

In '96 and '97 we spent a lot of time around the area Albany to Esperance absolutely fabulous. Pity you have a deadline.

Sorry, know this is an old post, but we were recently in Esperance and are now heading north through Kalgoorlie up to Mount Magnet - have to say, we loved Esperance - had a beautiful few days here - really enjoyed the regular pod of dolphins along the foreshore in the mornings. Made for a lovely stroll.

We went for a drive to look at Pink Lake and on our way discovered Pink Lake Butchers - honestly I have nothing but good things to say about them. Highly recommended for service, quality and price if you're in Esperance (AND they're more than happy to vaccuum pack for you).

We left Esperance on Sunday. Now in Albany. The beaches on Cape Le Grand were fantastic and NO JOHN we did not climb Frenchman's peak. You can have that achievement on your own. Meeting up with friends we met on the road 7 years ago. They are currently Mandurah with the husband FIFO for work. Next week is his week at home.
