Hi all we have just been appointed the new Caretakers of this little Camp. (CAW6- No 87) It is under-used that is for sure. It is about 5 acres of lush green grass, actually its the ex Flaggy Rock School, buildings still here, utilized by the locals for crafts etc. There is a small swimming pool, (for when the weather is warmer), a childrens playground, Bore water in use, so no drinking water b.y.o., couple of picnic tables under the trees, toilet, NO shower, suitable for big rigs, as well as caravans and camper vans. 72 hr stays welcome (3 days), mobile, internet, TV. We are situated about 800 mtres off the Bruce Highway on Flaggy Rock Road. There are photos and comments on the wiki camps if you have access. Although we are not a free camp, it is only $7 a night at this stage, and the money goes back into the community & campground. So when next time in the area, call in for a look see, if you like it, as we do, camp up and enjoy our Happy Hour.
