BOM apps

Not sure if everyone is aware but the BOM has this week released 2 new apps ... One is a very user friendly one for quickly locating your chosen locations weather and the 2nd is an Aust wide listing of all water levels, ie lakes, rivers dams etc.  If you are into any form of water activities, this should be of interest ..... It also gives you a quick snapshot of the effect of the drought.  You can get the links to download on the BOM website. It tells me that here at Nobby where we are we can expect up to 45klm winds in the next hour ..... Oh goody!

You better batten down the hatches and hold on tight until it goes through the area.

Only the occasional gusts now thank God .... The worst of it was around mid afternoon ... A bit unsettling when you travel in a push out type of camper with the canvas walls flapping in and out and the struts creaking ... Be so glad when we get the motorhome, at least you do t have to watch the walls moving during high winds.  Cheers

All I did was go to the usual bom website and it was there ... I just downloaded the app to my iPad just like you do from the App Store, however this does not use the App Store as I do not see it there. See copied info below
