This photo was posted in a earlier post but they were so spectacular I thought they were worth a repost. Possibly about 1000 plants yesterday 5 kms up the road to Perenjori from the Great Northern Highway ( turn left approx 80 km NE from Wubin)
Took Vic's advice and called Perenjori Shire. They say wild flowers are in full swing so I'll be doing a flying visit on saturday. Leave Perth at 4am, hopefully get there around 8ish, hunt the flowers until 12.30 and head back home. The trip back will be more leisurely with stops every now and get to cook some coffee. The caravan still hasn't been on its maiden voyage yet. Hopefully the WA get together will cure that.
