Hi everyone,

I've been following this forum for a while, and am just about to pick up my toyota hiace poptop, ready for my first little trip to Crescent Head in Sept. Won't be hitting the road full-time until next year though. Taking 12 months leave from work to see where it takes me. Solo female adventurer. I'll get a canine companion eventually, but at first I will explore some national parks and hopefully get some house sits...Starting from Sydney. Sydney to Cairns looks inviting, away from the freezing city winter. Haven't figured out how to upload photos etc yet but I'll get there. Looking forward to meeting lots of GNs, u seem like a supportive and terrific bunch. Cheers, Libby

Welcome to the forum Libby.
You're one brave woman!! I have often traveled alone and must admit felt safest when i had my German Shepherd with me, now that i dont i tend not to travel alone.
But admire anyone who does.
Best of luck on your trip and can't wait to see your photos!!! And stories

Thanks so much for your warm welcomes.

this new chapter in my life is exciting and daunting at the same time.

but I'm sure that with you lot to guide me, I'll be just fine.
