Athena was a pleasure to drive, I pulled up apprx 50ks out of Mildura, stayed at a Truck stop, only had one truck with me, I did see him till this morning. it was 3 degs over night, had to wear beanie, scarf extra blankies,. But I loved it.
Can't get the hot water going, so boiled water on stove instead, had brekkie, eggs and spinach and two cups of coffee. Heading for Port Augusta soon.
I AM HAPPY WOW WOW

Fran that is wonderful. Well done, great to see you out there and doing it. Like Jules said, stop at the little towns that is where the treasure is. Enjoy your trip, take your time and keep us all informed. Safe travels.

Good on you Fran!! I agree with the others - visit those little towns. A few months ago you were only thinking would you do this and here you are doing it. Let us know where you are and picys are good to see. Keep well and happy travels.
Good on you Fran, always a wonderful feeling when on the road. Check out all the little towns along the way too. Keep us updated and enjoy your travels.
Interesting pic of the sunrise with dew on the side of motorhome. I'll bet you were back inside as soon as that shutter clicked hehe. I'm looking forward to the day I can join you and the other GNs on the road, Fran.
Good on you Fran. Isn't it exciting when you get going, scary too. I started full time 1 month ago and it is the BEST thing I had ever done.
I'm learning every day and meeting different people very day too. loving this life and this country of ours. Enjoy it Fran, hope to meet you one day.
Congratulations Fran. The worst step has been taken and it is all plain sailing from now on.
Settle back and travel slowly and enjoy all the sights along the road as well as some of the weird people you will meet.
Some of us sane when we start but when you are on the road for a while you too will become a bit insane LOL. When you attempt every new challenge you will sit back afterwards and think to your self (I never thought I would do THAT what can I do now ).
Collect your bucket list and then slowly tick them off, but don't forget to add new ones as they come apparent.
Regards
Brian
