"Yep" tomorrow, Tuesday is the day this little kiwi goes in to Hospital for the long awaited bore out of the Arteries in both legs,
Or rather the correct Procedure is called, Transluminal Balloon Angioplasty "what a mouth full"
Everyone knows that a kiwi can't fly, sure hope this one can walk afterwards.
No one can tell me what time the opp will take place but, they want this flightless bird in the hospital and ready for the big needle by 7.00am
that means fighting the morning traffic on two highways, the Tonkin and the Great Northern all the way out to the Swan Districts Hospital which is in the Midland District, about 15 km away from home.
I have a very sympathetic daughter who said, "I told you to stop smoking years ago", now you'll suffer !!
My answer was, "Ya can't keep a good kiwi down", just see if we aren't back on the road with-in a Month,
see ya all. K.J.

I feel for you. I forget what the procedure is called, but I had the thing from the groin to the heart to fix a problem, and they needed to do it while I was awake, so I could comment. But he must have hit a nerve in my groin, because every time he moved the thing, I'd just about jump off the bed. Agonising. In the end they had to give me a little sedation.
Give me sedation any day. Poor you. Hope you feel better soon.
