Its 6 O'Clock and still no heater.

Well for the first time in I don't know how long I am warm. I have come across the range today, to Grafton. It was a magnificent trip across that range. I will do a report with some pics later. I decided to stay at the CP in Grafton, well it is a little way out but I tell you, for $22 pn, it is like a resort. I have booked for two nights and may well stay for more.

It is the Gateway Lifestyle CP. I cannot believe they only charge that amount of money. It is perfect. Pics to follow.

I even had a bit of a sweat built up this afternoon as I set up everything. Of course I am in Winter clothing still. Time to swap the wardrobe around again.

Great to hear you arrived and not cold now. The CP sounds good. Happy travels and will hear more of your travels soon.

Hi Shekon,

I did the trip earlier in the year from Grafton to Armidale over the range. If it's the same trip in reverse it sure was a magnificent trip. Only drawback it was very slow, some of those bends were signposted at 15 Kph.

The views sure were magnificent. Be interesting to see your photos. As the driver I never had the camera out.

And this morning the water is not frozen in the pipes. How wonderful is that. The funniest and saddest thing I have seen is a sign near the parkland area,
"NO PARKING ON THE GRASS DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL"

I thought WOW, and only 20k's out it is as dry as a dustbowl. Interesting how there seems to be an invisible line drawn as to where the rains stop and start.
