Family nomads

We're not strictly grey nomads (well, I probably have a few strands and hubby has more than a few!), but we joined this forum in the hope of benefiting from the wisdom and experience here.

We're a family of 4 with kids aged 2 and 4 and are hoping to embark on at least 2yrs travelling around Australia by the end of the year.  You can read more about us on our blog: http://www.travelatthespeedoflife.com

At the moment we're looking at vehicles.  Are there any serious alternatives to the Toyota Landcruiser for a family with a large (22ft) caravan?

Any advice greatly appreciated (might ask this question in the technical forum as that's probably a better place for it!).

Welcome to the gang SpeedOfLife, enjoy here and out in the playground.

The kids, big and small will love travelling and probably learn more on the road than in a class room. I have come across a few young families travelling.

Welcome from us too. The roads are not just for Grey Nomads and neither is this site. So enjoy. Sorry we can't help with your query.
