Have you tried to copy and paste it? You may be able to keep it in say, a word document or the like.

Hi Guru , you can use a program called SNAG IT , just copy the page you want and save to folder . Works well when no other avenue available.

I just copied and pasted it to a text document - so if you are more savvy than me you could probably do it the same or better.

If you have a Toolbar with "Page" on it.  Click that, and a box will drop down.  You'll see "Save as".  Click on that, and it should go to your Documents page.

Or, Right click on the e-mail, and drag it to a Miscellanious Folder on the same page.

Cheers,

Sheba.

A screen print is pretty handy to save stuff like that. Upper right keyboard.

I have a key that says "Print Screen SysRq" . If that's the one you mean, how does it work ? Nothing happens when I hit it.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Hold the CTRL button down when you hit print screen, then right click & paste it where you want it.

I just press the print scr button and it captures the image and gives me the option of saving the jpg to documents or whatever folder I wish. It will automatically save it to my pictures folder by default. I use it all the time, I take the screen shot and can attach to emails or anything.

My operating system is Linux so might work differently on Windows.

The way I already do it is much simpler and quicker, so I'll just stick with that.

Cheers,

Sheba.

You can save it as an HTML document. I use Firefox but other browsers do similar things. Go to the top and click on File > Save Page As. This will bring up the same sort of window that you get when you download any file from the net. Here is what I get:

A1.PNG

You will note this looks like a File Explorer, you can select where you wish to store your file. You will note near the bottom a text box labelled as File name: - you can edit this to change the name. Under that you will see a box labelled Save as type: - You can use this to select two types of HTML file and also save the file as a text file (experiment saving the various formats.) If you save the file in one of the HTML formats, when you wish to open it, find it in a file explorer (eg Windows Explorer) and double click on it. It will then open in your default web browser exactly as it was when you first saw the page.

Additionally, I often open these files in Apache OpenOffice or LibreOffice. I can then edit things out (like the annoying inane attempts of humour.) I then have the option of saving the edited file in either HTML or a word processor file (eg .Doc.) Other office suite word processors should be able to do the same if they are any good. Give it a try in your preferred word processor or download on of the above and try them.
