Small caravan park at Belyando, USed to be $10 but now I believe up to $25.
Theresa Da SW of Clermont but usually very crowded.
Bedford Weir NW of Blackwater, great spot but usually crowded.
Dawson Rv just west of Moura
Apparently there is a great spot Springsure also, depending on which way you go.

Hi there, we have just come across from Bedford Weir CAW6-328 great spot, plenty of room. Actually they have a female vocalist on Sunday evening from qbout 4pm also the caretaker cooks up some sausage for whoever wants to participate. It is a free camp, and you can stay for 7 days, but they do have a donation box to help with the upkeep and pay for the sausages eh!!

Our next stop was Duaringa CAW6-322 plenty of space, and a dump point, 48hr stay. Also nice spot.

From there we went toward Rockhampton, but Rocky doesnt have free camp, so we went thru Gracemere on the approach to Rocky, then took the Burnett Hwy to Bauldercombe, which is about 15kl sth. of Rocky, the Bauldy Hotel there has vacant land next door and you are quite welcome to stay there for a few days free, maybe buy a meal or beer or similar. There are toilets in the little park adjacent. Great spot. You can leave your van there unhitch go do touring in the car if thats what you'd like. Quite safe.

From there we headed north to where we are situated now, and employed as Caretakers at a beaut little place called Flaggy Rock Community Centre CAW6- 87. Beautiful green undulating 5 acres. We have toilets, no showers, peace & quiet and it costs $7 a night. $3 extra if you wish to use the pool. Bit cool for that though I reckon!! We even have Happy Hour if there are enough booked in for the evening.

Hope that has been helpful. Regards
