Here's a pic of the whole shed. Folk planning to visit the Dig Tree should be aware that you might spend an hour or two in this "information Booth" before getting to the tree. I think entry is by $11 per car in an envelope at the gate.

Yep, Fried Rice, it is $11 per vehicle OR aircraft!!! No kidding - took this photo last month when we were visiting the Dig Tree - found the flies extremely friendly too!
The day we were at Cameron Corner, the guy had just finished grading the air strip - he had people flying in for lunch, then flying right back out of there!!!

Hi Pejay.. Perhaps we just missed you out there. We were camped on the Cooper creek bank about 300 metres from the "the tree" on June 10th and 11th then via Cameron
Corner and Sturt National Park/Tibooburra/Broken Hill during the next few days en route to Eyre Peninsula.
A most interesting slab of OZ we reckon!!

In 2011, on the way back from an overnight at Birdsville, having flown over Lake Eyre, we stopped in at The Dig Tree for lunch. We then went on to Innaminka for a beer.
Tough way to do it.
Yes, I know that it was only a taste and not a good look as you get when caravanning, but it was the only way we would have got there.
