We are about to do a few hundred ks on rough road to Lawn Hill Qld. just in the old pajero we normally run at 35 and all I have read about rocky roads/tracks say we should drop down to about 25.. Any ideas out there in Greyland, greatly appreciated Bru
We concur (I think that is to say we do likewise to the 25-28PSI) pressures AND we also travel much slower due to the lower pressures, let alone slowing down on dirt and corrugations.
Enjoy the region it is beautiful.
Cheers

I slowly realise as I get older that I am definitely NOT the fastest rat in the race.
Also the older I get the more I realise I do not know.
Yea ok to drop pressures .. Just keep an eye on speed .. Not that you will but low pressures and higher speed will over heat your tyres over long distance..
If its as rough as you say ?? I guess speed wont be an issue..
