I don't have the answer but I have spoken to a few people who do and they all say its ok. I will be going to Alice on it in early Sept. but that's probably a bit too late for you for more reliably  information

thanks for the replies. I was speaking to a caravaner the other day who travelled the Plenty in beginning July and he said it was rough even for off roaders. He said don't travel it if possible . Cheers from little red who is really a big red.

we did it last month,  rough, corrugations, rocky and sandy, we did a bearing on our trailer. so a lot of slow going stopped at 2 campsite\stations the one by the border was good and green.   But an interesting way to go    good luck Bru
