tv reception

hi all,

have a sprinter campervan with internal tv antenna.

can occasionally get ch. 2 but nothing more. don't watch a lot of tv so this is more a question about what sort of antenna should I think about in the future. don't have a lot of room in the van so carting a dish around is out.

look forward to replies

safe travelling

You could try this one.  They are expensive and not cheap to install if you need someone to install it for you. However they are super convenient. Alternately you could look at this one.

We have one of these - at $39 they perform as good as ones costing 10 times that amount. They also are light and easy to mount - mine is on a piece of broomstick.

Even cheaper at $27.95 are these ones - we had one about 3 years ago and it performed good.

Good Luck.

One of the main things you need to do once out of the city is re-tune your tv, I found this out after a couple of nights without tv on my first trip, I also had to re - tune it when I got back to Perth

First two things I do now when arriving and set up, 1) see which way the other antennas are pointing. 2) retune the tv.

I have a App on my iPhone called "Antenna Mate". Finds the best signal and lets you know if horizontal or vertical.

Isn't it hard on your eyes watching TV on such a small screen though?
