Viscount Nipper 1992

recently purchased Viscount Nipper 1992 with side entry door, our first van, hoping someone can advise us on what material is used for the van walls. considering mounting tool box on the rear wall.

Welcome to the gang Cath and Greg, enjoy here and out in the playgroung.

More than likely be aluminium outside, timber frame and very thin ply inside. From a previous van I had "on site" and Viscount around that vintage there will not be much strength in the back area. Because you have a side door you might be better getting a steel bar fitted to chassis then fit box to that.

They are a nice little van the side door nipper, but I don't know what the material is either, I am not expert but others here may know, I think I would be reluctant to mount a tool box on the back as it may upset the balance of the van having that weight at the back in terms of sway and stability.  Just a thought.

Welcome to the forum smile
