Arrived here today ,the town is real neat and lots to see .The above park is everything you nomads said it was .So first up thank you .The sites are 45 deg and drive thru with lawn and roses etc in between sites .Judy was the prefect hostess and we were instructed to be at the fire pit at 5,we had a go the fish again but not a bloody nibble.so cool drinks till 5 and off to the fire .Well stuff me ! over 40 folk turned up and then a local fella came and gave the fire a kick in the guts and held a raffle for the flying Doctor.Since it was 4th July we were all given sparklers and we left late for tea. This is what I call caravaning and fellowship.Should you consider visiting you are advised to book !!!Cheers John
Hi John, glad you the park very comfortable. Could you please say g/day from Reg and Lynn to Judy and John (the fire kicker, and ask him if he still does the chook raffle on a Friday night)
Moama John,
if you are heading north, try Evening Star at Charleville - a favourite of ours. We visited Riverside on Warrego last year and really liked it, despite rain and a lot of red mud. Evening Star is about 7 kms out on the Adavale road.
John another rippa(in our opinion)is the The Red Lizard, about 5ks before Charlie, new park and they put on pizza 3 nights per week and they are good eating.
