It's been fun. Stressful at times (the whole "Why didn't you leave *item needed at time* out?" thing, and Sydney long-weekend traffic in pouring rain), but overall a lot of fun. We spent a lot more time in parks than we wanted in Victoria, but once we got the Truckies Atlas, we were away. Since Eden, we have stayed almost exclusively in truck rest areas and truckstops. Saved a fortune. Taken amazing pictures, and built some incredible memories.
We are in Landsborough (Qld), volunteering at a bird rescue centre. Plan to stay in the warm for winter, then who knows where we will end up!

Good on you for getting out there and enjoying what this wonderful country of ours has to offer.
I do hope though that when you stayed in a truck rest area you kept well out of the way of the truckies so as not to inconvenience them during their mandatory rest breaks?
We have used truck areas too when there was just nowhere else to stop but always keep well out of the way.

Hey guys, we are always aware of truckies - park well forward in the rest areas, or if they dinky, we just push on. So far, the truckies we have met have been great.
