On Sat. night we visited friends who live 8 kms out of Kuranda for dinner.  Had a great time but then we started home.  I was driving as Keith had enjoyed a couple glasses of wine.  FOG  I wasn't prepared for it & it certainly made driving a bit scary.  The lights on our poor little Suzuki didn't cope very well with it.  Of course being on an unfamiliar road didn't help.  Eventually we made it to the highway & the fog disappeared & luckily the traffic on the Kuranda range was very light.  I suppose this time of the year we should be aware that there can be fog.
