Marble Bar Road From Newman to Marble Bar - anyone know the current condition

Will be heading this way in 4 weeks and just wondering if anyone has driven on it recently and can update me on the condition as it is meant to be a major off-road.  Will be towing a small off road caravan but if its going to be too rough may just continue on the Great Northern Hwy.

Not driven it for some time, but it is generally a well maintained gravel road.
A nice diversion is via the Scull Springs Road (gravel) and the Rippon Hills Road (bitumen). Spend a few days at the stunning Carawine Gorge.
Fuel is usually cheaper in Nullagine than Marble Bar.
Fuel at Capricorn Roadhouse is usually expensive.

Cheers,
Peter
