You both did very well. I did it with my grandson about three years ago and it is not real easy.

We were at Halls Gap over the week end and loved it!

Out of season is good...nice and quite. Zoo is a suprise.

Also did Pinnicale walk but left from Sundial carpark(shorter)

The top half of the Grampians was closed to all because of the fires.

We love it up there :) You did well ! It's amazing seeing the wide variety of people tackling that walk, my son and l try to get up there at least 3 times a year , I'm 54 soon and even though I'm pretty fit , find it a struggle trying to keep up with my 14 year old son , we went pretty well last year doing it in 40 minutes from the sundial car park ! ( one way ) then after that , going back down , then doing the Mckenzie falls walk ( before it got burnt out ) , to say l was buggered is an understatement lol , even my son was out of steam lol

My mums family come from Great Western , so it's always nice to go back up there , we're on a few acres in Buninyong just outside Ballarat , so it's not a huge distance to travel

There's the Grampians motel just south of Halls Gap if you want a good feed and great service , heaps of kangaroos there and a great view too

We get our van next week , can't wait to take it up there and try it out :)

The zoo is very good , great to walk through and check everything out ( watch the deers , they're super friendly and love a feed..... One grabbed my car keys out of my pocket and took of with them ! )

Cheers ken
