Being in Sa I have noticed the sun does not deliver the same amount of amps each day for solar panels?
Today I been getting only 16.5 amps per hour, but 3 days ago I was pumping in 32 amps a hour from my panels, and I have been in the same position for 2 weeks now?
On my home solar, rated at 3.9kw I have had 5.4kw delivered from panels.
I monitored output in a log for 6 months or so and found on days with light white whispy clouds (say that fast) output is increased when compared to clear blue sky.
Obviously refraction of light will have a beneficial effect.
Maybe panels need a wash C/Man.
EDIT: Obvious also my panels are under rated by manufacturer,,, though I'd better admit that.

We found a difference in the amount of amps we got when over east (we are based in WA) and here in WA... the panels do much better in WA than say SA or Vic or NSW... Queensland is not so bad but we have not gone to NT yet.... WA seems to be the best place for sun even when cloudy. We will be putting up a few more panels now before we go back over east again :)
EG a cloudy over there we might get 1 or 2 amps over here we would get get between 9 and 15amps.....
