RE: Hotmail problem?

Hi everyone, I am amazed somewhat that something so easy to rectify has become such an issue.  All you do is give Hotmail an alternate address, within a few seconds a code will be sent there.  Go back to your other email, place the code in there, and you will be on your way again without problems.  Its so easy as Buddy Holly would sing lol.   Btw Hotmail also offers Live Chat where you type to someone in real time.  If your not sure where to type in an alternate email address, just click one of those little black down arrows ( triangle shape things) and a window will open, thats where you type another email address in.....Kisha.

thanks Kisha, what has really got up my nose is that MS Outlook did not give any warning about this happening and I do not click on unknown stuff on web site's, not good practice IMHO.

and it give's us all something to do on a Saturday morning biggrin

Hi Wombat yes I know its wrong of them, thats why its wise to not volunteer to much about yourself online, I wrote about that in another post, and this is just another prime example of why the less said about yourself the better lol.    Ssshhhh! lol. I also communicated in Live Chat to a Hotmail representative how wrong it is of them to send out these codes without prior notification in an email.    But yes its a pain when everythings going fine with your account and then they start all this code nonsense.  I baked some nice old fashioned scones, and now am going to enjoy them while looking around the forum...Kisha.

LOL, CWA have nothing on these scones, they are top notch, I do have cream and I do have jam, but for me the nicest marriage of flavors in a scone by far  is butter...I mean "real"  butter not that awful stuff thats a butter substitute, what a poor excuse for a spread that is lol.  I might enter my recipe in the next country show, check apron and all lol.  So come on down and enjoy!.  As for Hotmail lol, I am glad you did not  give them your phone number, its none of their business....Kisha

 Can they seriously??????

Best option if one insists on using hotmail is to have a Gmail backup.

MS outlook is ok as well if run through your ISP email server.
