Well done Wendy. No doubt a great sense of satisfaction when you see it on the bed.

It is a great felling of accomplishment when you complete something like this, and to think you have done it all by hand! Well done Wendy.

Yes, I am pleased with myself! Have started work on the next one. Will make it all by hand, too - EXCEPT that it will be machine quilted. Something new I have to learn.

Well done Wendy! as a fellow quilter, I can tell you how very addictive it is. How I am going to miss my stash while I am away! Never mind I will have crochet and cross stitch to keep me busy in the quiet times!

Silver Streaks,
I started that quilt whilst away on a 3 month trip. Had cut out the pieces at home. All I needed fitted in a fairly small plastic box. So if you hand piece, you can take it away with you.....

My grand daughter just loves purples and mauves, and it was made for her.

I was pleased with it - when starting out, selecting the right colours was my greatest worry. I am still not all that confident, but a bit more relaxed about it than I was. It only took me 3 hours in the shop to choose the blues for the one I am doing now!
