I think we know this, but can we do anything about it?????/
It is time all Australians demanded these rorts be stopped. After all it's the pollies who made these laws to cover their greed, both LNP and Labor. We pass these emails around but do nothing about it, now it's time
The Trough Is Deep -These people are all wealthy. The age of entitlement is over???? not for pollies...or the rich. STINKS.
The Trough Is Deep - Why should we keep paying for these parasites on the public purse well after they have lost office ? Only pollies could rort a system this well.
And they blame the pensioners because the country is in debt, what about all the other handouts!!! No pollie should be paid a wage when they retire, nobody else gets paid when they leave their employment.
Salary of retired PRIME MINISTER etc...
Prime Ministers are currently 7 - Frazer, Whitlam, Hawke, Keeting, Howard, Gillard and Rudd and they also get expenses such as airfares, an office, car etc
Have a look at a doco called "Inequality for All" I think bits of it are on YouTube. See what's happened in USA and now here, there's a lot more pain on the way
glad my days are numbered.
my thoughts are theres one rule for workers and pensioners and another rule for pollys and there rich mates.
but it seems its always been that way.
a fair go for all??????
Fair enough the pollies feather their nest when they can................... I believe pensioners who work all their lives are entitled to much better treatment. However.
Those who choose to live on the dole and complain about it not being enough while drinking a stubbie, smoking a cigarette and admiring their new tattoo should maybe sacrifice in one way or another.
I read an article (online) from The Australian, where a local GP in part had this to say " Sadly, I know it is a Coalition government that will be raising my top tax rate and adding huge amounts to everything here via the fuel levy, as those are the only two measures that will pass the Senate. It makes no sense for me to continue working while subsidising those on benefits who should be doing the menial jobs that remain unfilled in rural Australia.

From that my wish would be that the government of the day would abolish the 457 visa and assist younger people, or older, single or married to move to rural areas to fill positions. Then if they refuse to go is when welfare is reduced. A lot of young unemployed would turn out to be good and worthwhile citizens of rural areas.
hi sort of agree with u neilandraine. but the lib govt want the 457 visa to bring down the wages of all aussie workers.
but there is more to it than that also nothing is that simple.
u cant believe anything the mad monk says
