Cancel that.

This is a serious question. My son and his partner have to go to Melbourne mid June for appointments related to his injuries from the truck accident that has left him with permanent injuries including slight brain injury.

They desperately need someone to look after the 4 kids aged nearly 5 to 11 while they are away.

Cancel that. They want someone the kids already know well.

Don't you dare do a U turn!
I remember when you put yourself out and moved to Qld........
Why does the partner have to go too?
There must be other relatives - or friends? Or could the older ones go stay with their friends families and the younger go with them?

No it's ok. I did offer to fly back but Jacinta wouldn't hear of it.

Her mum lives in Gladstone and works fulltime but I'm sure they will find a friend or someone close to help them out.

Jaz has to go with him as his carer, they will have to drive down as he can't fly because of his blood clots.
I'm sure they could work something out where they go to friends or maybe even up to the dads in Calliope if it coincides with school holidays.
