I have landed some whoppers from Peter Faust dam, and spent many long hours chasing them, and donating lures to the trees. I think my biggest was 115cm from memory, but ot a lot over a meter. Also got one over a meter from the horseshoe bay boat ramp, all released.Lovely fish, and allbig ones are females.Such a universal fish for northern OZ. CampKanga has cvan powered sites for $20 a night. Well recommended. Bill

When fishing for Barramundi is it better to use fresh bait or a lure as I am hoping to tick one off on my bucket list when in Karumba on this trip North any advice will help, I am not a regular fisherman.
