Persimmons....a surplus

I don't claim to have a green thumb but this year my persimmons (non-astringent) just went crazy - it flowered in spring, flowers were pollinated and since then they have just grown and grown to extent where all the branches are carrying so much fruit they are touching the ground.  Advocados are similar.

We're hitting the road in the next few weeks going south (crazy eh!) and then loop up to Darwin and anti-clockwise back to TWB.  I will have a large of persimmons and advocados so if you see the setup in the avatar on the road or camped, you'd better like persimmons.

Regards

Denis

They look absolutely gorgeous!!! Wish we were coming your way sooner, heading up to Townsville via Toowoomba, Roma, Emerald, Longreach, Winton, Hughenden, etc in mid-June. :)

What a pity we aren't near you. All our persimmons are finished. It was a good year. Although hubby says you get a bumper crop on alternate years.
