The skip bin at Greens

So they all left. The Easter Campers, the nomads.... And then were just 3 vans. being a master wood scavenger, I scavenged. I have wood to burn  for days. Then I found a rusty iron fire guard. It's a big beauty in that it protects the fire from the wind, and radiates the heat. my camp fire is hot, hot, hot! And using stuff all wood. I have had one huge bit of gum going for hours.

then I found a nearly new chair in the skip. Then a shower tent with a broken zip. So, I've stacked most, not all, of the wood I have, in the shower tent to keep it dry. I also have wood under the van and in the back of the car!!!!

oh, I should add that the chainsaw was required to get the perfect length wood. Going to saw up the neighbours wood tomorrow, and told them that are welcome to use the pile That I have. Or come here ;)

Happy days.

lets see if the pics will work.....

Hmmmm. Need to figure how to swing the pics..... I'll post, before I lose lose internet connection and try to edit later.....

okay. I give up with swinging pics around, but you get the gist. If anyone's here's for the long weekend, I have a fire and you are very welcome. Forecast is good, nights are cool ( flannelette pjs n blanket) but sunny n 24 etc. Good for Victoria anyway.

It's amazing what people chuck into that big bid MJ. I have seen many things go in it over the times there. Enjoy your time at Greens.

Thanks for the edit Vic41. Change of plan, I'm heading off tomorrow. Suspect the wood will be gone before I am ;) more folk are moving in slowly.

Just a shame about the mouse that camped out in the wood pile and scared the hell out of me this morning ;)

Mouse has gone now though!

Hah! I'd rather a wombat than a mouse! A kindly GN aka Paul, came to my rescue. I'd recently met a couple with a mouse I their tow, I was worried!

I think that mouse might have been the one from RowdyRabbit, he just keeps smiling on down at all of us.
