hi wandering travelers ,,, i am after info on anyone that has a XG-SF3700 inverter generator or similar that has had a problem with no spark ?? i have stripped mine down and done all possible tests ,and i now believe the ignition coil has failed ,,,, so rather than wait 4 overseas delivery ,,has anyone located an Australian parts supplier for these sine wave generators

I have been getting parts for other things out of the States and the longest I have had to wait was 10 days..

Heres a cheep way to replace the coil. These are Ford BA Teritory ign coils, the coils rarely fail. But the rubber insulator fails & lots of them are replaced because you cant buy the insulator. I have collected a few for free from the local garage as they are thrown out. They will work with small engines that have CDI ignition systems, which pretty mutch all newer engines have. I have tried it on a Kipor 2.6 inverter generator,
