Hello
I feel a bit like a gate crasher on your forum. We are a couple of 'grey nomads' from Uk. We have had our motorhome for about 3 years and love it, especially when we cross the water to explore France, Germany etc.

I would like to pick your collective brains for info about the best websites to put on a request for an exchange - our motorhome - a Hymer 514 - for one in Australia for about 6 weeks in 2015. We spent 5 weeks on the west coast of Australia in a camper, about 5 years ago and would love to do it again (maybe the southern coast) for Peters 60th. The UK insurance companies dont make it easy to put on additional drivers from outside the EU, but I have found a way, albeit at extra cost which we would be happy to share.

The only websites I have found are RVWorldwide and Motorhomeholidayswap (which seems to be inactive) and I havent had much luck. I thought that there might be one in Australia that would get us a better response.

Any advice much appreciated.

You have made a good choice asking your question here as there are heaps of knowledgable people so sit back, relax and await the answers.

Your offer is a good one but I don't fly very well and I don't think my Avan is what you have in mind biggrin
