We're in Forster for a few days. Drove from Bris-Mullumbimby on Thursday pm; Mullumbimby-Forster on Friday. Torrential rain at Mullumbimby after we left caused one death; unfortunately a lady tried to ford a flooded bridge and got washed off. Found her in car under water this a.m. Another warning not to take these risks. Heaps of major work happening on highway will slow down all travel; we were lucky that wet weather had most work stalled on Friday so we got a good run through.
