Dancing is a great way to keep fit in your later years.

Whilst living in  China i was always intrigued by retired people meeting in parks and dancing on the marble tiled area set aside for that purpose. Someone would bring along a CD player and amplifier and away they would go. The dancing used to start before 7am as I was on my way to work and was still going 10 or 11 hours later and then continued into the night. Many of the ladies dressed to the nines while some of the men just turned up in thongs or sandals. Sometimes women danced with each other and often I saw a guy dancing around with an imaginary partner. Many times I was asked by the women to join in but was too embarrassed to do so. I just loved their total lack of inhibition.

It must have a good effect as few Chinese are overweight.
