Has anyone seen any UFO's or other strange things in their travels (ie; The Min Min Lights ???), out of body experience etc?
I was reading a magazine in a waiting room yesterday and there was an article by the President of the Qld UFO mob, who said a group of them saw what appeared to be a low moon moving across the horizon very quickly and disappearing at Lake Wivenhoe. She also spoke about an encounter with aliens..??????
Now at the risk of being considered loopy, about 30 years ago, I was travelling on an unlit road between Lancelin and the Brand Hwy in WA and I saw what appeared to be a full moon on the horizon in front of me in the distance, the only other light around was a farm house way off to my left. This also moved fairly swiftly from left to right and disappeared, spooked me out at the time.
My uncle was woken one night, many years back, by the dogs barking, cattle bellowing and the horse going crazy. Thought it might be a dingo or two on the prowl. Next day he went down to vegie patch on the river bank to pick a couple of pumpkins. He found a large round indentation in the middle of the pumpkin patch about 20' across. Pumbkins and vines crushed. True story! They are out there dont worry.
Yep sure have, I believe I saw the min min lights on the Nullabor back in 1978. Lights travelling that appeared to be headlights but danced around and disappeared. This was on the old dirt road.
More recently last year a strange light and eerie feeling attached to it that was reported by some other locals but never made main stream media. To this day it is unknown what happened on that morning.
I saw a growing white light appear over the top of a 3 storey building in Richmond. No sound just a large maybe 100 to 200 metre white bright light. It kept coming and then disappeared back behind the building. Others reported hearing an explosion and lights flickering. There is no media coverage and no reports of any explosion in this area. I heard no noise just saw the light.
Others reported the same morning:
"South Windsor,Sydney at around 6am on 5th March 2013. Sky was fairly dark although it was sunrise. Suddenly out of my bedroom window there was a very very bright flash of green/blue light high up in the sky. It made a slight crackling sound, and the fan that was on in the room cut out for the 2 seconds the light was in the sky. The sky was fairly clear, not many clouds. Scared the crap out of myself and my partner who saw it also, and we would love to know what it was! I couldnt find anything on local news etc, but someone else must of seen it also?!"
"Regarding green flash in the sky, two of my mates also saw a huge green flash in the sky yesterday morning 5th March 2013. They had just left home in South Windsor and were driving to work at 5.50am. I was woken up at 5.50am by my smoke alarm going off (battery flat) so obviously the power cut off momentarily"
I reported this on Sydney observatory strange lights page and there response was:
"These sightings appear not to be astronomical or to do with spacecraft so our Sydney Observatory astronomy experts are unable to explain what this may have been. Perhaps someone else out there can enlighten us?"
Yes I have !!
I am a limo driver, and my job is picking people up to take to the airport.
My passenger was a government official, whom l respect.
We were driving on a clear morning before sunrise, going up a hill.
I was watching a "plane" rising in the sky heading west, thinking it was banking south because I couldn't see the tail......
My client screamed at me to stop the car, which I did, he jumped out, but it had gone.
It was faster than a normal jet.
We didn't know what we had seen and still don't.
A year or so later I picked him up again for the same flight.
As we went up over the hill, I suggested that we both draw what we had seen.
He could draw better than me, but we both saw the same thing.

Interesting Molly, it does make you wonder doesn't it.......spooky stuff....
A couple of my fishing mates speak alien, different dialects though. This usually happens around a camp fire on a lonely beach, late at night. I've always wanted to record it but the agreement is what goes on on a fishing trip etc etc
We saw a large orange light silently moving from West to East over Derby one night, about 5 people in the caravan park watched it till it was out of sight. It wasn't a balloon, it moved as if mechanically, but there was no sound. A few ideas were that Curtin Air Base is in the direction that it went towards, so it might be something to do with the Air force.

Amber Fluid wouldn't have anything to do with it Bryan ??????

I was wondering it the sightings around Richmond may have had something to do with them too Gerty
I have seen the Min Min light.
Was fencing on a property way out in the Springsure ranges with 2 others. This place was pretty wild, actually didn't have a back fence to the property.
Nearest neighbours was 60K's away as the crow flies.
Sitting around the camp fire about 8.30 PM or so, no grog, ran out days ago...
The light came up over the trees, looked like a headlight, just rose up like the moon but low on the horizon.
Did an arch over our heads, lasted about 20 mins or so, perfectly round, but looking at it through the rifle sights it had no features of any sort, just a bright light.
Quite eerie, never believed in it till then.
Still don't know what it was, but I will never forget it.
About 10 years ago I was walking along a very dark road in the country. When all of a sudden I saw a large green object fly over my head from the East to the West. It looked about 100m in diameter and engine at the back was emitting a white flame, or something. There was no sound at all, I still wonder what it was.
The other way of reporting this:-
About 10 years ago I was walking along a very dark country road. I saw a large meteor the burning up in upper atmosphere, there was an over all green cast which suggest that there was a proportion of it composed of copper. The meteor was visible for about 3 seconds.
Believe which version you want, I know I prefer the second.

I've worked for over 44 years with the Bureau of Meteorology as a Weather Observer on rotating shifts with half that time making night 1/2 hourly observations of cloud and visibility which requires you to allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness plus at 9PM and 3AM we'd track a weather balloon often for 40 minutes in total darkness using a pibal theodolight. This was mainly in remote locations. Over all that time I've never seen a single UFO and believe you me, I've looked for them. Plenty of shooting stars etc but no UFO's. When using radar to track balloons I've only once had something unusual happen which was with a balloon and radiosonde at 80,000ft when I noticed a large echo approach the target and then shoot off rapidly at over 300 m/s (600Knots). My balloon and payload could not be located after this (if they burst you can track them down). I checked with Amberley RAAF who log these occurences but they just said none of their aircraft were in the area at that time. I tracked this echo to my extreme range which from memory was 240 nautical miles.
But, who knows....

I have no doubt they are out there somewhere, and I consider that in itself to be reason to worry! We didn't get to be the dominant species on earth by being kind and gentle, and if their civilisation is even more advanced than ours (as it must be if they are visiting) then they are probably even more ruthless than us
