We spent about 5 days at the same camp site a couple of years ago. What an experience that was.
Shortly after pulling up and starting to set up camp we experienced an semi Tornado like a semi cyclone. I think they call it the Roaring Forties wind from inland not from the sea.
I took 7 people to get our awning back onto the van and then a similar exercise to help the neighbour. We lost one solar panel, which was blown down on the rocks just in front of you. The wind was so fierce that the dust and small stones we sand blasting all of us.
Hope that you do not have the same whilst you are there. Great spot, as is all of Tassie.
Don't forget to visit Stanley and the fish shop with the giant lobster on the awning. Great fish and chips.

The roaring Fortys are one

Of Tassies Tourist Attractions

In the Sail ship days of old they often

Made a permanent stop on our

Shores after encountering them

A unplanned one I might add
