Hi Folks , just purchased a Garmin Dezl 760mt Gps , great units for the RVer , its got 1000 POI but the question is do I still get the Camps 7 update or are the ones installed ok, your input would be appreciated

Are you sure you can add custom POI's? The product info on the website says you can't. But the manual describes adding custom POI's via POI Loader software on your computer. The preloaded ones appear to be Truck oriented ie. rest areas, plus the usual food, gas, banks etc. categories. I know you can add custom POI's to the My Escape because I have added them to mine, but haven't played with a Dezl 760LMT

there is WEB SITE WWW.WANDERINGOZ.COM that do the camps7 program for Navman but I am not sure about the Dezl 760 , I must contact them , but your right , the ones installed are mainly for trucks

If you update your Garmin uploader then it accepts the Dezl and accepts the POI as normal.
You may have to edit some of your files for them to load (not sure what I did now as it was over twelve months ago).
You do not have to rename each file as you add new files as it combines them all into one file while keeping them seperatewhen you search in the unit.
It will take you on some different tracks depending on the settings you set.
Mine set to 3.2 meter high and 11 metres long takes different tracks to the car one as it prefers the main highways and avoids the back tracks but that is how I have mine set as I have little ground clearance.
