Judy - that's the sort of thing that would be good, although I'd make one from plywood as per the pic which is just a mockup - hinge it so it fold flat and can be at different anles. No room to swing a cat in an Avan!

well to add to the mix we carry quite a few luxuries. Coffee machine, mixes, microwave, washing machine, Tv, Full range spices and herbs ( even a portable garden of herbs) Why, because this is our home, we dont travel for few weeks then go home to a house. We don't see point in roughing it when we can have a few comforts. Would you throw your TV, washing machine, microwave or any of the other stuff out at home? Its simple design your van to carry what you want. Solar is cheap these days so you can power almost anything. Hako all I can say to you is take what you enjoy why camp if you dont enjoy it, and get a bigger van lol
