Left the Bemm river , and went to Marlo , just down the hyway.Marlo is at the mouth of the Snowy R, Vic, and is a great area for Gns. All along the river between Marlo and Orbost the are areas where  self contained GNscan stop for thenight , and there are FISH in the river!I landed some luderick, a nice bream,about 600g, and a salmon about the same size.Also Sammy the seal tried to pinch my fish as I was landing them. We have sharks in NQ, they have Sammy the seal in Vic.Also , a skua, a large grey gull type bird was trying to pinch the bait.Beaut river , very clean water. I got full bars on the phone and internet, and 28channels on TV.Orbost has woolworths and most shops you couls want.Will head up to the Anglers reach, on Lake Eucambine, Tmrow, trout fishing. Hey Bill, enjoy Anglers Reach - I caught hundreds of trout there over the years....

It's a very picturesque area down that way, Bill. Been there with a few trout fishing tragics (I just watched and took pics - and avoided snakes in the long grass). Glad to see you're having a great time and getting a few hooked.

Orbost is a town I could live in. Did you make it to Cape Conran for some beach fishing?

Some other fishermen turned up at the jetty at Marlo,and did well on the salmon to 2kg at the cape, but I already have fish in the fridge,so I didnt try.I am backat the Snowy R. for the night, and am barbying the fish I caught,and giving some to the other campers. Can,t eat it all myself.A friend from Narooma isarriving at Anglers reach on Monday , so I might stayhere for another day. Lovely spot. Bill
