Hey Graeme, many thanks for that link, the issue being the engine when hot runs way to fast, the suspected problem appears to be a hole in the diesel pump diaphragm, I took the bus to a diesel workshop in Dubbo this morning, they had a look and getting to it involves removing the inlet manifold. So there doing the job tomorrow morning.
