Bet its got the same 12V DC lead as this 1983 Honda EM500U generator which I still use. Hondas great offer many years later of $150 trade in on a new over priced generator wasn't taken up by me ( the tradein had to be working) Wonder what happened to the tradeins??
Like all the stuff what is returned to Woollies and the like, they are written off as loss and dumped
in this case you talking about of 150 dollar a generator
they call that creative bookkeeping
you would not want to know for how much is dumped every day by them big shops
If I would get a tenth of a percent of that value I could have an very lavish lifestyle
At least one major household goods supplier in Adelaide has/had a programme of checking and where practicable repairing returned goods. An electronics technician friend of mine did it for several years as a part time job repairing anything electrical or electronic and overall, the wastage was actually quite small. A large percentage of the returned items had no fault.
