On your way to Georgetown i hope you take the West Tamar Hwy (the REALLY scenic side of the river) and maybe drop your anchor at Rose Bay better known to the locals as Gravelly Beach (free camp at the boat ramp car park).

Which ever way you go take it slow take it easy and enjoy THE BEST Australia has to offer

Regards

The Friar

I've had a very interesting and enjoyable couple of days meeting really nice people from the Forum. Starting Monday with Doug (Dougwe) here in Launceston, about which I commented in another post. Yesterday, Brian and Cheryl (Briche) came to visit. See also comments in another post. In the late afternoon I visited Alan and Adele (Mongrel & Delilah) at their Motel in South Launceston after they called me on arrival from Devonport. Once again another very interesting couple and I enjoyed swapping stories about our lives and hearing about their future plans to get on the road. All in all that makes a total of 7 Forum members I've met over the past 9 months, and I'm looking forward to adding to that number when I hit the big Island mid March....
