Christine Ellen Hynde (born September 7, 1951) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She is the founding and sole constant member of the rock band The Pretenders.
Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin, September 22, 1958)[1] is an American rock singer, songwriter, composer, musician, record producer and occasional actress.
She was born in Poland and died in the Capital Warsaw in 2008 aged 98. She is a Jew and Roman Catholic. She was a Social Worker, Humanitarian, nurse, administrator, educator.

Irena Sendler, also referred to as Irena Sendlerowa in Poland, nom de guerre "Jolanta", was a Polish social worker and humanitarian who served in the Polish Underground during World War II in German-occupied Warsaw, and from October 1943 was head of the children's section of egota, the Polish Council to Aid Jews.

Colin Milton Thiele AC was an Australian author and educator. He was renowned for his award-winning children's fiction, most notably the novels Storm Boy, Blue Fin, the Sun on the Stubble series, and February Dragon.
Colin Thiele, Educator and Author of more than one hundred books, which have won him worldwide acclaim and admiration, was born at Mutter Knabe's Nursing Home at Eudunda on 16 November 1920. He was the fourth of five children of Carl Wilhelm and Amalie Anne, nee Wittwer and was baptised on 19 December 1920. His father died on 3 September 1954, aged 80 and his mother on 27 March 1983, aged 96. Both are buried in the Julia Creek Cemetery.
